I spoke last night for an event called “ENCUENTRO DE DESARROLLADORES OPENFRAMEWORKS” at ZZZINK in Barcelona about some of my OpenFrameworks explorations. My presentation—the only one delivered in English!—focused on using OF for graphics in a commercial setting for television spots and print advertisements. The remaining presenters had work ranging from live VJ applications, to augmented reality games, to maze-following robots. Afterwards, I mingled, drank Estrella Damm, and made some new contacts.

In other art-related news, Elisa and I made it to the Pipilotti Rist show, “Partit Amistros - Sentiments Electronics” at the Fundacio Joan Miro in Parc de Montjuic. The art, largely consisting of projected video collages and serene music tracks on loop, featured many feminine themes. Viewers could lay on pillows to take in the trippy scenery. The show ends on Monday, so if you are in Barcelona, head over to check it out.
