We’re nearing the end of our three day excursion in the Basque country and headed back in the direction of Barcelona tomorrow. From exploring the mystical backstreets of Bilbao, to trying to sneak into a futbol game, to eating a traditional Basque meal, and lastly spending an evening in the beach town of San Sebastian, this leg of the trip has definitely been the most enjoyable so far. It has also yielded the best photos thus far on my Panasonic LX5, but I can only take part of the credit—the place plays a bigger part. I look forward to visiting the inland town of Vitoria-Gasteiz for one more glimpse at this region on our way out tomorrow morning.
